bicycle Challenge
For our ongoing projects, we need funding – and your support. This year in April, the John Grube Bicycle Challenge enters its third round, and we call on all cyclists, athletes and other supporters of the association to cycle for a good cause - for every kilometer you cycle, our supporters (companies and private individuals) donate a fixed sum. So every pedal-push counts!
And this is how it works:
After you have registered, you will receive a participation link for the Strava app. You can use it to measure your kilometers.
Then you pedal for the whole month of April. All kilometers covered, whether outdoors or on your home bike, will be counted.
For every kilometer, our supporters - both companies and private donors - will donate to the Foundation.
Whether with your family, your colleagues, your hockey team or on your own - every participant helps us to cover as much distance as possible and thus collect as many donations as possible. Register now and support our work.

The John Grube Foundation is well known in Germany. So far we have had the pleasure of working on projects with partners such as Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), Klönschnack and Eppendorf University Medical Center (UKE). The association was also supported by partners such as the Blankenese grammar school, the Hamburger Polo Club and the Landhaus Flottbek, who organized charity events on our behalf that had a remarkable reach. We have also been advised pro bono by Allen & Overy since 2021. Sponsoring the John Grube Foundation's January Challenge would be a great opportunity for your company to support a committed, nonprofit organization in a good cause. Your company logo will appear on every social media post published on the occasion of the Radchallenge for a whole month.
You and your employees are of course cordially invited to take part in the bike challenge.
And private individuals are also welcome to become sponsors, for example in the Cyclassics category (1 cent per kilometer).
