Pediatric Vasculitis Registry

Since the GeVas register unfortunately only records adult vasculitis patients, a further patient register for children and adolescent patients is now being created on the initiative of Prof. Christoph Härtel, head of the Polyclinic and Children's Clinic at Würzburg University Hospital. With funding from the John Grube Foundation, the registry will be technically aligned with the GeVas registry to enable late synchronization, set up in 2021 and begin collecting data.

The project management hopes for the first time to record how many vasculitis patients fall ill in childhood, information that would be of the greatest importance for both treatment and drug development.
